Emerging Nations Plate Play Off Review

The Mediterranean-Middle East will take on Africa United in the Confederation Cup Final as part of an eight-game Rugby League Emerging Nations World Championship finale at St Marys Leagues Stadium on Saturday 13 October despite a narrow 32-28 loss to ASEAN at Windsor Sporting Complex today (Thursday 11 October).

The Mediterranean-Middle East clinched the finals berth because of a superior points difference, while Africa United beat Latin America 48-10 to claim the other spot.

In other matches, New Zealand forced the three-match Disbabilty Test series to a decider after beating Australia 16-10 in Game Two; while Japan pipped Hong Kong 32-30 in Game Two of the Emerging Nations Plate Final Series.
